The details
Who it’s for
Children under 10 get a yearly dental exam and many treatments for free. The first visit is recommended around age 1.
How often
At least once a year, or as often as the dentist says.
Cost
Free with the child’s health card at a dentist who takes part in the public plan: yearly exam, emergency exam, X-rays, fillings and extractions. Sealants are not covered.
