Who it’s for
Children and teens under 18 with a Quebec health card get a full eye exam at an optometrist for free.
How often
1 full exam per year. A strabismus (crossed eyes) exam is covered up to age 16.
Cost
Free with the health card at an optometrist who takes part in the public plan. Glasses are not free, but the Mieux voir pour réussir program gives back part of the cost for children under 18.
