What to say

““I’ve had a change in my bowel habits for a few weeks.”

The details

Who it’s for

Routine screening starts at 50 (or 40 with a family history). At any age, a recent and lasting change in your bowel habits (diarrhea, constipation, black or bright red stool, bleeding) needs a visit, not a screening test.

Cost

A visit covered by your health card is free.
