Who it’s for
The Canadian Task Force recommends not doing PSA screening before 55. Quebec suggests talking about it from 55 to 69. If you have urinary changes or a strong family history, talk to a doctor.
Cost
If a doctor or nurse practitioner orders it, ask where to get the blood test in the public network with your health card. A private lab may charge you; prices vary.
